How long is the launch?
It runs from September 9th – November 10th
What do I have to do again?
Being part of a launch team means supporting the project through your own unique strengths. Depending on how you’re wired, there are several ways you can help spread the news about Awakening, such as by:
- Pre-ordering the book (for bonus entries and early access)
- Leaving a review
- Sharing the launch on social media
- Inviting friends to join the fun
Every little action you take can have a huge impact on the book’s visibility, which means that more readers looking for their next big adventure may finally find it because of you!
Review Guidelines
When can I post reviews?
Reviews on Amazon will open on launch day, October 21st. However, most other sites allow reviews at any time.
For example, you could post your review on Goodreads before launch day (and claim your Twin-Scroll Chronicler quest entries!), then simply copy it to Amazon once it’s available.
Do I have to review on all platforms?
No! While Amazon and Goodreads are the most popular locations, there are plenty of other places readers look for reviews. Other great options are BookBub, StoryGraph, Barnes & Noble… anywhere you would go as a reader to see what others think about the book.
What should I include in a review?
Great question! Keep these points in mind as you draft your review.
1. Be honest and authentic. Share what you loved, what intrigued you, and what resonated with you. If something didn’t work for you, it’s okay to mention that respectfully.
2. Aim for 2-4 paragraphs. This could include a brief (spoiler-free) summary of the story’s themes, what stood out (characters, worldbuilding, pacing, etc.), your favorite moment, or who you think would enjoy the book.
3. Avoid spoilers. Help future readers enjoy every twist and turn! Use your judgment and be vague where you can or, at the least, warn readers before you spill something.
Quest Questions
Do I have to complete all the quests?
Not at all. Each quest simply grants more chances to win prizes while helping to extend Awakening’s reach.
Can I repeat quests?
Some quests are repeatable. Those that are will show the MAX count on their card under the Launch Quests section.
Can I complete quests at any time?
Yes. You can submit as many forms as you’d like up through November 10th, though each quest has its own deadline. Be sure to check the Launch Quests to see when each one closes.
Winners will be announced on November 11th, and all entries must be submitted before then.

How many prizes are there?
There are three prizes:
- Signed Paperback
- Signed Hardcover
- Signed Special Edition
Winners may only be drawn for one prize and will be selected at random.
